ESA was formed in 2002 by Sue Whittle and Rick Graham with the intention of providing practical cost-effective support in the area of Human Resource and Health & Safety Management. Originally aimed at small to medium manufacturing companies within the North-West, our client base now encompasses the entirety of the UK and a wide range of industries.
Sue Whittle is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and has extensive management and consultancy experience, across all business sectors. She has worked with both manufacturing and service organizations, helping them to add value to the business through the introduction and maintenance of effective business and HR systems.
She has considerable expertise in policy development, practice and employment law, specializing in Change Management Strategies, TUPE regulations and Equal Opportunities Legislation. Sue is also a qualified Counsellor and Mediator.
Rick Graham has held a wide range of management positions, working with companies such as Astra Pharmaceuticals, Eli Lilly and IMC (International Minerals and Chemicals).
His most recent position was as Operations Director of Bio-Flo Ltd, with overall responsibility for project management, development, production and distribution, including the negotiation of UK, US and European partnership agreements. He is a Project Management Professional (Project Management Institute).
