Information & Communication Policy

New client P asked our advice regarding inappropriate, although legal, material that had been downloaded by a senior manager in work time. After examining their existing IT policy we had to advise them that their policy had not kept up with the latest developments in this field, and that actually it did not prohibit the employee from using the systems in this way. We recommended that they upgrade to the ESA Information & Communication Policy. The ESA ICT policy is the most comprehensive available, and takes fully into account developments such as mobile computing, social networking, messenger systems, private use of systems both at work and at home, as well as the more established areas.
